About the event
French painter Sandrine Lanoy (b. 1969) is known for her beautiful portrait paintings that explore the fine line between reality and imagination as she creates contrasts with the use of lines, colours and lighting. Born in Toulouse, southern France, Sandrine Lanoy studied architecture before moving to Paris to work in the fashion and design industry. After completing her studies at the Beaux Art School and the Jean Sablé School of Decorative Painting in Versailles, she dedicated herself to her art. Amidst her subtle compositions are expressive subjects, in contemplative gazes with the viewer.
